Kim Johansen, somewhere in North
Carolina...
-
occasion: Playing
on the sound...
-
comments: "When
we moved to the South from the Northwest, I was miserable with
the humidity. We had bought a charming older home with no air
conditioning (that was during early spring). When the full
force of summer hit, I thought I would die. One day after
failing to dry my hair (it was just that humid) I said
to hell with this! I spent the day naked with the kids, and
discovered
young nude pictures, I really liked being naked,
especially in the yard (nature) and water (skinny dipping). I
haven't looked back. Now we love summer!
-
advice to others who would like to try
nudism:
"Spend a summer's day in your backyard naked, or try it
while hiking in the woods. You'll be hooked."
Kim
writes our "advice to nudists" column, and is writing a
general guide to "Body Freedom for Women" to be
published this fall.

Jamie T., Twin Lakes,
Idaho
-
occasion: Summer
Vacation, Twin
Lakes, Idaho.
-
comments: "Our
family has owned a summer cabin on Twin Lakes for the last
twenty years, and the season always start on Memorial Day
weekend. The first thing we do on arrival, after unloading our
gear, is take our first swim of season. We strip in the cabin
and run down to dock and jump off. Of course, the water is
still freezing, so it's a very short swim. My step father
builds a huge fire on the beach, and we snuggle in blankets
and gab away. We're a "blended" family. None of us
minds being naked in front of each other. I'm sure my step
brother (we're a year apart) gets a kick out of it, but he's
cool, and we trust each other. He's worried about whether his
butt is cute (it is) and I worry about my breasts (he says
"they're perfect").

advice to others who would like to try
Nudist
videos:
"For some reason, family or communal nudity is
tremendously liberating. You're just who you are. And being
comfortable with who you are is the best way to
be."

Chrissy, Haulover Beach, Florida
-
occasion: "Accepting
a dare..."
-
comments: "We've
been going to the nude beach for a while but I was too shy to
go 'bare.' This is the first time, and I just sort of slipped
out of my suit near the water. My sister took the picture. It
took me forever to finally stand-up nude. It felt great to
finally do it."

occasion: "My first
naked experience."
-
comments: "My
husband's been pleading to let him post a nude photo of me on
the web. I lost a bet so here I am. I'm an Account Executive
for a local radio station. Maybe it'll help sales."

-
advice to others who would like to try nudism:
"As soon as you're naked, you're more open to the
environment and the people around you. It's amazing what a
simple like going nude can do."

Celeste, Eugene, Oregon
-
occasion: Camping near
Haystack Rock
-
comments: "I'm
actually wearing excessive amounts of sun block."
-
advice to others who would like to try nudism:
"In the woods above and north of the rock it's like
Middle Earth. Running around naked here is inevitable. It puts
you in harmony with nature. Try it once and you'll thereafter
look for special places to be nude. "
